Automatic
Renewals eliminate the chance of losing your domain name!
For your
convenience and protection of your domain name, domain names that are
hosted or parked with us are automatically renewed within three weeks
of the expiration date. If you do not want your domain name renewed,
please let us know one month before the expiration date.
If you
would like to renew your domain name (that is not hosted or parked with
VP), please submit the Domain
Renewal Form. Your domain name will be renewed and you will see
a new expiration date within 72 hours on WHOIS directories.
Renewing
a domain name does not change your hosting unless you also change the
nameserver information. We register and renew domains for anyone; you
do not need to have a hosting account with us for us to register/renew
your domain name.
If you
have any changes to the contact information, please submit the Update
Domain Record form.

How
will I know when it is time to renew?
For your convenience, VP will automatically renew your domain name when
it is up for renewal if you are a current hosting client. If we do not
host your domain name, VP will contact the Billing email address on
the domain name record (not on your hosting account) when it is time
to renew your domain name. You may also receive reminders from bulkregister.com
that your domain name is about to expire. Please make sure to keep the
Billing Contact information updated to be sure that we will be able
to contact you regarding your renewal.
I
received a notice from BulkRegister...is this Visual Presence?
If you receive a renewal notice from BulkRegister, and you wish to renew
your domain name, fill out the the Domain
Renewal Form to extend your domain registration period from 1-10
additional years.
Can
I transfer my domain name from my current registrar?
Yes, we can transfer domains from any registrar. Please review our Transfer
Domain page for more information.
How
can I get an invoice/receipt for the purchase/renewals of my domain
name?
Your account will be charged for the domain names that you purchase,
in the amount of $14.95/year. Please note that automated invoices do
not include these charges, therefore you should reference the Billing
History section of your control panel for details on charges. Please
contact Billing via the
Help Desk
if you need a invoice emailed to you or if you need a paper invoice
sent via snailmail.
When
will my domain name be dropped if I don't renew it through Visual Presence?
Your domain name will become available for renewal to clients on our
waiting list immediately after the expiration date. Therefore, if you
want to keep your domain name, it is important to contact us with this
information before your domain name expires. If there are no clients
on the waiting list for your domain name, it may be dropped as soon
as 5-10 days after expiration.
